The dogs on this page need to be adopted by

people who are experience dog owners.  They should

have some knowledge on how to train a dog.  They will need to

be a cautious dog owner while at the same time be able to show

their love and affection for these special needs animals

ALBERT – I am an 84 lb. five-year-old male neutered Black Lab.  I am good with adults.  I should be in a home with no other pets or children.  I have had obedience training.  I love attention.  I can get overly protective of my surroundings so I need an owner with prior experience working with large, high-energy dogs.  I will need a fenced in yard.  I come when called and will walk on a leash.

ROCKIETTA – I am an 85 lb. ten-year-old spayed female Rottweiler mix.  I am good with most adults.  I should be in a home with no other pets or children.  I am a very laid back dog.  I like attention and going for short walks.  I do not require much exercise.  I come when called and will walk on a leash.  I can open latched gates.  I have had obedience training.  I enjoy riding in the car.

SHELBY – I am a 57 lb. three and one half year old spayed female Boxer mix.  I need to gain the trust of people; until I do I am very cautious.  Once I have earned your trust I am a very loving and loyal dog.  I come when called and will walk on a leash.  I enjoy riding in the car.  I am not good with cats, dogs and livestock.  I will need to be the only dog in the household.
